World Peace Day Wednesday: Checking In with Aidan Hennessy

We want to share an update about a young boy who helps us make our World Peace Day Celebration in Bartlett, Illinois, USA, a success every year, Aidan Hennessy.

We have been sharing our plans to participate in some special activities globally during September, both through the Compassion Games and our World Peace Day Celebrations. Today, we want to share an update about a young boy who helps us make our World Peace Day Celebration in Bartlett, Illinois, USA, a success every year, Aidan Hennessy. Aidan has already begun raising funds toward his goal of $25,000 for this year’s World Peace Day Fall Run/Walk, which will take place on Saturday, September 24, at the Bartlett Nature Center. Aidan loves supporting Play for Peace, and he always helps us invite other people to participate in the event and raise funds for our work both locally and globally.

Aidan has been collecting donations toward his team goal, and he has already raised $2,310! Last week, Aidan sold lemonade at his lemonade stand and hosted a garage sale, which helped him raise an additional $100 for Play for Peace from those efforts. We hear there is more to come, and we can’t wait to see what he does next! We are hoping you will join us for the World Peace Day Fall Run/Walk on Saturday, September 24.
