Play for Peace spreads joyful, playful, and effective tools and methods to implement peace processes around the world. It's very exciting and encouraging to be able to exchange with trainers, mentors, and youth leaders from different countries and learn from their experiences. Margaux is a freelance cross-cultural trainer, moderator and storyteller, who has been living in Berlin for more than 10 years. She is collaborating on projects in different countries dealing with the following topics : a.o. prejudices, racism, intersectionality, history and memory, social and political awareness, diversity, migration and refugee politics, and human rights. Being born in France and having spent a part of her childhood in Nigeria and South Korea has influenced her approach to cultures and languages. It opened her curiosity for what is happening when different perceptions and understandings of the world meet? Experiential learning offers an infinite number of possibilities for children, youth, and adults to be themselves, to share their stories with others and to reflect on stereotypes. To overcome language barriers and inhibitions, she uses a lot of body-oriented methods and artistical techniques in her trainings. Play for Peace reminds Margaux to focus even more on this aspect of her work and to share it with others. She is also a trainer for the Salto-Youth Network from the European Commission. This network stands for Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities for Youth. It works within the Erasmus+ Youth programme, the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport.
