A journey of positive change for two young leaders from India

Their journeys of self-discovery and triumph show the impact of Play of Peace. Through cooperative play, a world for learning, cultural exchange and inspiration can be achieved.

To be inspired is great; to inspire is incredible. A short documentation on the journey two personalities, Archana Magar and Javeed Ansari. They have recently graduated to become certified trainers for Play for Peace. Their journey is a true testament to positive change and mentorship. Archana is a fearless girl with big dreams from a small town in India. She was forced to live on her own in order to follow her dreams. Her journey from a small town to the big city wouldn’t have been successful if not for the mentorship and guidance of Play for Peace Trainer Swati Bhatt.

Archana’s journey has been interwoven with Play for Peace activities. She says the positive direction her life has taken has to be attributed to the opportunity Play for Peace has provided to connect with others in meaningful ways. Javeed comes from an orthodox neighborhood in Hyderabad. During his childhood, the religious ostracism affected him negatively. His early introduction to Play for Peace through Imroz Shah motivated him to turn his life around and create the Zero Violence project. This has given him well-deserved acclaim nationally and internationally. His extraordinary contribution to society can be found on his blog http://khelsemel.tumblr.com/. Their journeys of self-discovery and triumph show the impact of the Play of Peace. Through cooperative play, a world for learning, cultural exchange and inspiration can be achieved. They have been working with underprivileged youth to inspire and foster a champion attitude. Their education in life has come through their emotional connection to Play for Peace, which has helped them see through differences and conflicts. Through their life experiences, they have learned that non-judgment can provide an opportunity to develop an environment where every unique identity is celebrated. Every idea can be expressed fearlessly. Play for Peace is a unique platform for young minds to train and educate themselves to create a peaceful atmosphere where they are guided by individuals who have developed themselves into aspiring entities.

For Archana and Javeed, Play for Peace is an incubator that fosters positive thoughts and messages that inspire individuals to create a world where peace is given a chance.
