“Peace is happiness, peace is priceless.”
Jack Bhandari and his restaurant, Taste of Himalayas, has been a supporter of the World Peace Day since 2013. Taste of Himalayas has served the St Charles and neighboring community for seven years now. They consistently received awards from the Kane County Chronicle for Best Vegetarian Restaurant as well as Best Indian Food categories. Jack believes that in supporting peace initiatives around the world, we are able to maintain the beauty of the world, and we can make this a better place. He believes “Peace is happiness, peace is priceless.” To the Play for Peace volunteers and children in Nepal, he would like to say, “See the brightness of the future. Don’t hesitate. There are people around the world who are ready to help you.” He wants kids all over the world not to lose hope.
