September 23 was a special day for the 800 children who participated in the Moon of Love mid-autumn festival in Vietnam. The festival was organized by A New Day Social Work Group, the Play for Peace club in Vietnam, along with their partner, the Lumen Choir. Around sixty volunteers conducted games and spread messages of peace on this wonderful day. Through this project, 20 families that live in poverty were supported.
The festival was the first event of a series of projects called "For a Better Childhood," which aim to educate and support local children from the Mekong Delta.
